Wednesday started with a bagel breakfast at Cabin 4, hosted by JoAnn and Bill.  Most of the participants had arrived by then ... but not many showed up at 6:30 a.m. when Bill said coffee would be ready!  Some of us got to taste smoked ... mackerel? (home-caught!)  It was the first fish of the week.

A few hardy souls made the first trek of the week to view the waterfalls (water-trickles?).  Many more made the trip, and huffed and puffed their way back up 400+ stairs (Bill Mrazek has the exact count, if you're interested).

Dinner was at ... which shelter was that?  We found a free one, far from the "Camp Host", and had an evening of fun and good food.  Bill cooked hamburgers and hot dogs.

After eating we celebrated the BOTM (birthday of the Matriarch).  See photo #21.

Elise presented her watercolors of Mt Hood to the other August babies.

This was the premier semi-performance and photo-op by "The A. F. Dancers".

If recollection serves, this was the first night that we had a campfire (would appreciate confirmation, if anyone can remember).
