Sarah and Andy Blumenfeld hosted breakfast at Cabin 3, and Andy cooked up some delicious pancakes and muffins.

Today the hikers finally found the West Rim Trail, and were rewarded with some of the prettiest sights of the week.  They could even see the lookout near the first shelter from the other side of the canyon!

Lunch was at the Berlureau's Cabin 6, hosted by Ann and Justin.  We had more fish (!), and someone gave Mark a piece of Elise's "penance taffy".   Enough said.

The evening meal (do we seem to be focussed on food?) was back at Cabin 1.  Debra Did Dinner ... her own special variation on a recipe for Mexican Dip (there was nothing left when the eating was done!).

It was almost after dinner when some adult (?) started a water-pistol fight ... inside the Cabin!  It was totally uncharacteristic.  It took about an hour to get the fracas moved totally outdoors ... and there were some very wet people walking around for a while.  I suspect that there will be some scouring of end-of-season watergun sales at the toystores when everyone gets home.  The "Super Blaster" seemed to be the weapon of choice.

We returned to the Linders' campfire site that evening ... and after a round of jokes that descended a bit beyond the "borderline" category, we were all shown a little more R-E-S-P-E-C-T by Bekah, Sarah, and Debra.  The hairdo's were "outa sight!"
