Photo Shoot - Clan Linder
Scenic

Breakfast was at Jan and Roy Busdiecker's, Cabin #1 ("We are cabin number one, number one, number one! We are cabin number one, where is number two?").  Jan served the renouned and Linder-historical cinnamon rolls made famous by Adelaide Busdiecker, nee Linder.

This was the morning that everyone finally got their T-shirts on at the same time, and we started taking pictures.  Boy, did we take pictures!  Seemed like a wedding ... every possible combination of families, genders, descendants, and every other possible logical grouping had its picture taken together.  Linda and Kate left shortly after.

On Friday the hikers wandered around in the Wilderness.  Never saw a canyon, but did work up a good sweat (excuse me ... the ladies "perspired").

Larry provided horseshoes so we could demonstrate our skill and prowess ... thanks a BUNCH for that, Larry!

Bill cooked up a mess of fish, assisted by Justin ... I know that I had at least one of everything, but don't remember what all of them were (so what's new?).  I do remember that I enjoyed every bite!  Joe brought homemade chocolate chip cookies for dessert (Jan says, "Yummy!").

Mary found a yellowjacket ... in the water bottle from which she was drinking!   Fortunately, she did not appear to sustain any serious injury, but we were worried for a while.

This day's campfire, again at the Linders', was our night of reminiscing of days gone by and those who have gone on before us.  It is sometimes said that a family is known by its stories ... we hope that some of them are carried forward by the younger generations, but enjoyed the special feeling in remembering together.  Many thanks to Ann for the idea and for organizing the evening.
